Architekton is seeking a Junior Designer to join our team. This position will work closely with the principals, project teams, clients, and consultants to develop various sized projects within the office. This position requires interest in working in dynamic teams and taking on various responsibilities. In addition, this role requires a strong design sense, commitment to the environment, and an eagerness to learn and develop new skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist and support design projects, help coordinating drawings, designers, and consultants.

• Create three-dimensional building information modeling and two-dimensional construction documentation using various software

• Perform redline changes and revisions, assist in the streamlining of the architectural design process from conceptual design through overall completion of projects

• Participate in the architectural design process and develop alternative solutions and presentation graphics used to communicate concepts to the client or for agency approval

• Assist with contract administration responsibilities

• Assist in marketing efforts

• Participate in professional organizations, and represent Architekton design values.

EDUCATION and registrations

• Accredited Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture or equivalent

• Master of Architecture preferred
